Much of Eastern philosophy originates from an oral tradition which was initially written down in Sanskrit.
This language continues to be actively studied by students of Practical Philosophy from across the world. Each Monday during the term a tutor from the Practical Philosophy course will present a word from the Sanskrit language and explain its use and its meaning.
Each session will be around 5 to 10 minutes long. Whether you have attended philosophy classes or not, all are welcome. The live sessions are recorded and can be watched at any time on the School of Philosophy and Economic Science’s Facebook page.
