How do we find meaning in life?

In this short presentation Christine Lambie looks at the work of Viktor Frankl – a psychiatrist, neurologist and philosopher, as well as Holocaust survivor.

Christine considers that we has to say about how we can find meaning in life and how this can help us too.

Frankl’s suggests three ways of finding meaning:

1. By creating a work or doing a deed.

2. By experiencing something or encountering someone, loving someone

3. By the attitude we take toward inevitable suffering.

These were all very personal to Frankl, drawing on his experiences in camps.

We also can find meaning in life; having meaning gives a lot of strength.
